Position Title: Senior Software Developer (ColdFusion)

Location: The Pentagon (Arlington, VA), Joint Base Andrews (MD)

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in ColdFusion application development, Oracle database management, and modern web technologies. The successful candidate will design, develop, and enhance software solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor other developers while ensuring compliance with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using ColdFusion, Oracle databases, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API calls; troubleshoot production issues and create new software or enhance existing systems.
• Coordinate and manage software upgrades, conversions, and integrations; develop scalable architecture artifacts and assist with planning and configuring application architecture.
• Participate and contribute to Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, while utilizing tools like Digital AI Agile development tools and Subversion for configuration management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, software architecture, test plans, and release notes, and support compliance with system and network architecture standards.
• Collaborate and mentor project teams, stakeholders, and junior developers to gather requirements, ensure high-quality deliverables, and recommend software packages, while providing user manuals and training materials.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in:

• ColdFusion development.
• Oracle database and SQL development.
• Web technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API integration.

• Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC management.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Subversion.
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and training materials.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex software environments.
